Snapchat is an app that lets you send pictures and videos to your friends. You can also see who your best friends are on Snapchat.
These are the people you send the most snaps to.
But sometimes you may want to change your best friends list. Maybe you don’t talk to someone as much, or you want to add someone new.
You can do this without unfriending them. Here are some tips on how to do it:
#1. Send Less Snaps to Them
The best way to remove someone from your best friends list is to send less snaps to them.
Your best friends list is based on how many snaps you send, not how long or good your chats are.
So, if you send fewer snaps to someone, they will go down in your list. You don’t have to stop sending snaps to them completely, just enough to make them lower.
You can also skip their stories or chats if you don’t want to talk to them.
#2. Send More Snaps to Others
Another way to remove someone from your best friends list is to send more snaps to others.
This will make them higher on your list and push the person you don’t want down. You can send snaps to anyone you like, as long as they send snaps back.
You can also make group chats or join public stories to get more snaps and activities.
#3. Change Your Privacy Settings
If you don’t want to change how many snaps you send, you can also change your privacy settings to hide your best friends list from yourself and others.
To do that, go to your profile, tap on the gear icon, go down to “Who Can…”, and tap on “See My Friends”. Then, choose “Only Me” or “Custom” to pick who can see your best friends list.
This way, you won’t see the person’s name on your list, and neither will they. But this will also hide your whole best friends list, not just one person. So, be careful with this option.
